Our Story
Two Friends, One Family,
Twenty-Something Years of Aloha
On December 8, 2002, Julie Oasay and Zenaida Pagdilao opened the doors of Julie'z Restaurant in Kapolei Marketplace — two cousins-in-law with a shared dream of bringing authentic Filipino home cooking to the west side of O'ahu.
More than two decades later, not much has changed — except the number of families they've fed, friendships they've forged, and accolades they've earned. Julie'z operates 364 days a year, closing only on New Year's Day, because the community they serve doesn't take many days off either.
Guests drive from across the island for Zenaida's legendary Lumpia Shanghai and Julie's Lechon Kawali. The team is treated like family — many employees got their very first job here — and customers are treated the same way.
